1. Gurdhyan singh, Executive Director

Gurdhyan Singh, is a Legal Justice Professional, founder of the Academy, with over 25 years of experience in the areas of access to justice, capacity building, and good governance. He was a UN human rights official in Rwanda and former Yugoslavia, and legal official with the Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Gurdhyan also worked as a Legal Advisor with the International Commission of Jurists based in Geneva, Switzerland. As an adjunct and visiting faculty, he taught courses on access to justice, human rights, and international criminal justice etc., at Hamline University, University of Minnesota, and Pristina University. He provides overall leadership,  leads student research teams, and run educational and capacity building programs for community service, civil society, social service, non-governmental and governmental organizations. Gurdhyan is also part of the UNDP's Experts Roster for Rapid Response (ExpRes) on the Rule of Law and the UNITAR’s Roster of Senior Consultants of the Multilateral Diplomacy Program.
